Continue Your Training in 2027

The One Year Higher Certificate is designed as a continuation for students who have completed our One Year Certificate Course, or who have equivalent jewellery-making skills and experience.

The Higher Certificate is delivered through a combination of remote learning and regular in-studio tuition in Dublin. Students will attend regular Saturdays monthly throughout the academic year, together with an intensive period of in-studio tuition during July.

This blended structure allows students to continue developing their work independently from home while maintaining the regular hands-on tuition, guidance and studio time required for more advanced practical skills.

Throughout the year, students are supported with course documentation, demonstration videos, guided projects and ongoing assessment, alongside direct tuition with Deirdre during their scheduled studio days.

The course follows a structured, year-long programme with an emphasis on developing technical ability, independent working practices and more advanced jewellery-making skills.

FEE STRUCTURE

Course fees of €14,900 per annum will be applicable and all silver course materials and consumable equipment are supplied by Jewellery Skills and Design Courses. The student’s Higher Certificate Final Collection is self-funded.

Graduate Payment Plan

We recognise the financial commitment our graduates have already made to their professional jewellery education. To support their continued development, we have introduced a flexible payment plan designed to make the Higher Certificate more financially manageable.

Full details of the payment arrangements will be provided following acceptance onto the course.
