Join Us Remotely in 2027

The Remote Learning Higher Certificate Programme for the Jewellery Skills & Design Course offers the same comprehensive curriculum as our established one-year in-person programme, conveniently available remotely. Following Completion of the One Year Certificate Course, this 2nd year is available as a continuation.

This is not a ‘watered down’ remotely tutored version of our established on-site course. It has evolved at the request of students who would like to attend full-time but cannot re-locate or attend on-site every day.

The remotely tutored course follows the same year-long curriculum as our in-person course. The difference is where you work, not what you learn or how closely you are taught.

This is a mentored, apprenticeship-style one year Higher Certificate Course It offers real skills acquisition, over one year, with sufficient access to Deirdre, your professional tutor and most importantly, phased physical studio time.

Supporting documentation with course module demonstration videos and module assessments (remotely and in-person) to monitor the student’s progress and ensure skill development.

Upon enrolment, you will receive detailed advice on materials and home bench setup to support your learning from home. A full materials list is provided, enabling you to prepare effectively for each module. During your in-person induction week, you will be guided through the structure so you feel confident and fully supported.
