About the In-Studio Certificate Course

A VIDEO GLIMPSE INTO OUR IN-STUDIO LEARNING EXPERIENCE

Our In-Studio Certificate students have access to a comprehensive library of step-by-step technical demonstrations, complementing their practical tuition.

These videos are available exclusively to enrolled students through a private, password-protected area of our website.

This allows students to revisit techniques, refresh their understanding and develop their skills with confidence, while continuing to benefit from individual guidance and hands-on teaching throughout the course.

We are now accepting applications for our September 2027 In-Studio course! Our Full Time, One Year Traditional Jewellery Skills & Design Certificate Courses are offered annually from September to June. These intensive Courses are designed to offer graduates all of the practical Jewellery and Goldsmith Skills needed to develop a full-time career in the jewellery trade.

There are real job opportunities for graduates of our course, both in Ireland and abroad and many of our students are both employed and self-employed in the Jewellery trade as a direct result of graduation from the course. Our courses are very highly regarded in the jewellery industry and we are regularly contacted by employers looking for trade jewellery staff.

Course Details

One Year Jewellery Skills & Design Course 2027 / 2028

  • Open to students of all levels, including beginners

  • Combination of tutoring, classwork and bench practice.

  • Design, Costing and Manufacturing of a Jewellery Collection.

  • Monday to Friday 10.00 - 17:00

  • Full time September to June inclusive.

  • Starts on the 30th September 2027 - 15th June 2028.

Course Syllabus

The jewellery skills covered in the full-time course include but are not limited to:

  • Traditional Jewellery & Goldsmith Skills

  • Jewellery Design

  • Engraving

  • Stone setting 

  • Workshop Management

  • Marketing & Business Skills

  • Project Work & Assignments

  • Graduation Exhibition.

Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.

Applicants must have a high level of fluency in the English language.

We welcome all levels of experience including beginners, and are all inclusive. We will need to test your aptitude and there will be a simple bench test for short-listed applicants.
