Remote Learning

DISCOVER OUR REMOTE LEARNING PROGRAMME, COMING IN SEPTEMBER 2026

Join Us Remotely in 2026

The 2026 Remote Learning Programme for the Jewellery Skills & Design Course offers the same comprehensive curriculum as our established one-year in-person programme, conveniently available remotely.

This is not a ‘watered down’ remotely tutored version of our established on-site course. It has evolved at the request of students who would like to attend full-time but cannot re-locate or attend on-site every day.

The remotely tutored course follows the same year-long curriculum as our in-person course. The difference is where you work, not what you learn or how closely you are taught.

This is a mentored, apprenticeship-style one year course. It offers real skills acquisition, over one year, with sufficient access to Deirdre, your professional tutor and most importantly, phased physical studio time.

This course includes 5 individual weeks of on-site training spread evenly throughout the course duration. Supporting documentation with course module demonstration videos and module assessments (remotely and in-person) to monitor the student’s progress and ensure skill development.

Upon enrolment, you will receive detailed advice on materials and home bench setup to support your learning from home. A full materials list is provided, enabling you to prepare effectively for each module. During your in-person induction week, you will be guided through the structure so you feel confident and fully supported.
